Late, But Here's Some XXL Stuff To Talk About

This is the cover for the highly coveted and widely praised XXL Freshman List. The hip-hop magazine, after a very lengthy delay (probably to build anticipation) has unveiled to us these 12 candidates and released them to the public for confirmation, conversation, and criticism.

Accompanying the release of this list is also the "Freshman Freestyles." Freestyle implies unwritten and impromptu rhyme making, but in today's day and age freestyle has no definitive meaning. So as we watch these offerings, let's keep this in mind.
